PENGABDIAN KESEHATAN PADA LANSIA DENGAN TERAPI MUROTAL PADA PASIEN HALUSINASI DI DESA DUKUHREJO KECAMATAN BAYAN KABUPATEN PURWOREJO

Abstract

Abstract: Background :Murotal therapy is a therapy used in patients with hallucinatory behavioral disorders to overcome mental disorders in mental patients such as listening to the sound of the Qur'an, religious therapy (religious intervention) is useful in cases of mental disorders. . Objective: To increase the knowledge of the Dukuhrejo Village community regarding the environment as a promotive and preventive effort in handling hallucinatory patients. Method: Lectures, interactive discussions, health checks, and pre-test and post-test evaluations. Results: Shows a significant increase in community understanding regarding environmental activities, with knowledge scores increasing from 30% to 100%. This shows that the health education approach is very effective in forming community awareness and understanding of the handling of hallucinatory patients. This activity makes a real contribution to the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, especially in community service.
