Abstract
Abstract : Background: Hallucination disorders are still a serious problem in the world today, the number of sufferers of hallucination disorders increases every year in various parts of the world. Hallucination disorder is a perception disorder that involves a person's perception of something that has never happened/is not real. Group Activity Therapy (TAK) is one of several types of therapeutic modalities used as an effort to facilitate psychotherapists and nurses.Objective: To determine the effect of sensory stimulation group activity therapy on the behavior of patients with hallucinations. Methods: In this community service, we carry out it using lecture and discussion methods. The population in this community service was attended by 20 people who had hallucinatory behavior. Results: The average pre-intervention behavior score was with 10 people (50%) answering correctly regarding the definition of hallucinations, while the post-intervention average score was with 20 people (100%) answering correctly regarding several symptoms and recurrence of hallucinations. The results of the analysis showed that there was an influence of sensory stimulation Group Activity Therapy (TAK) on the behavior of patients with hallucinations. Conclusion: There is an influence of sensory stimulation Group Activity Therapy (TAK) on the behavior of hallucinating patients in Pekutan Village Bayan District, Purworejo Regency.
